On May 28, municipal elections will be held throughout Spain, and regional elections in 12 communities: Aragon, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, the Valencian Community, Extremadura, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra and La Rioja, as well as as elections to the Assemblies of the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

In the second case, the request must be made personally by the interested party.. There is an exception, when the person is sick or has a disability accredited by official medical certification.
