The premiere of Vox in Marinaleda, the heart of communism: attacks and an attempted attack
Vox will be presented for the first time in the Seville town of Marinaleda, the heart of Andalusian communism, and its landing has not been the most desired.
The municipality where Juan Manuel Sánchez Gordillo has governed since 1979 by the Workers' Unity Collective (CUT) has received MEP Jorge Buxadé with insults, confrontations and an attempted run over.
On the first day of the campaign, a Vox member was even slightly injured with a gash in the eyebrow in an exchange of blows. There was a moment when some 20 residents of the town came to confront a similar number of militants and supporters of Santiago Abascal's party.

“You come to provoke!” a lady snapped at them while trying to mediate, as can be seen in a video broadcast by Vox.
Marinaleda is a peculiar town. It has never known another mayor other than the communist Sánchez Gordillo in the last 44 years with absolute majorities and the situation has been very troubled since he announced that he was stepping aside for health reasons.

The person who carries the responsibility of continuing with his utopia behind him is 37 years old and his name is Sergio Gómez, who has appeared in the area to try to calm things down.. This will compete under the Con Andalucía brand -Podemos and IU-, but there are doubts. On May 28, the communist project may crack and may or may not come to an end since 1979.
In addition, the elections will be attended by PP, PSOE, Avanza Marinaleda and Vox, although the tension has been such in the town that most of them have a list of cradles, that is, completed with people from outside.
Vox's act
And with this atmosphere, Santiago Abascal's party had called a meeting in front of the town council for 2:00 p.m., with the presence of Buxadé and Jaso de Alaminos, the vice-president of the party and candidate in this town of just over 2,500 inhabitants.
Upon their arrival, they had already been rebuked, but the altercation occurred when a group of neighbors broke into the act, taking advantage of the Civil Guard's shift change, which was protecting them.. Shortly after, two patrols arrived at the scene.
At that time, as reported by the party, several people tried to interrupt Buxadé's statements with shouts and, later, they approached the audience, experiencing the first moments of tension.
As can be seen in the images, the aggression has continued with an attempt to run over the vice president of Vox and the people who accompanied him when they crossed a zebra crossing. It can also be seen how a young man in the middle of the fight goes to his car to get some kind of straps.
Vox will file legal action
Vox will file legal actions against those who have perpetrated the attacks, who are clearly identified in the images recorded by the attendees and the media that have attended.
But it will also take action against those who consider that they have been “attacking violence against VOX” for years and against those who, from their positions of responsibility, consent to this type of action, they say from the party.
