The RFEF signs a family reconciliation plan with the Women's National Team for the World Cup
The captains of the Spanish Women's Soccer Team, Ivana Andrés, Irene Guerrero and Esther González signed, this Monday on behalf of all their teammates, the agreement with the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, which establishes the family reconciliation measures that will be followed during the players' stay in Australia and New Zealand.
With this initiative, the entity will favor and carry out the displacement of immediate family members and will make it easier for players with sons and daughters under the age of two to have them close. The athletes will have the option that their partners or caregivers of minors and children can be close during the entire concentration in New Zealand and Australia.
The agreement, which was reached on May 16, incorporates conciliation measures that follow the model of other national teams. Some initiatives that had not been taken before because “it has not been until now when some of the players have become mothers,” they point out from the Federation.
The entity maintains that they have made “an additional effort in order to provide the best possible conditions for the soccer players, and find solutions so that the players receive the support of their closest circle during the championship.”
