The Police certify that Oltra did not exchange emails with her team about her ex-husband's abuse before the judicial intervention

SPAIN

The former Vice President and Minister of Equality, Mónica Oltra, did not give any written instructions via email to her closest collaborators about her ex-husband's accusation of abuse of a minor under guardianship until she learned of the judicial process in August 2017.. This is certified by the report of the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police of Valencia that it delivered to the Investigating Court 15 on May 10 after analyzing the communications between the former vice president and her trusted staff, who were part of a secret piece of the cause that investigates whether there was a cover-up of the abuses.

As stated in the report, between February 1 and December 31, 2017, Oltra did not exchange emails with his collaborators that mentioned the case that affected the educator Luis Ramírez Icardi as a result of the complaint of abuses by a minor from the center where he worked, dating from February 2017. Yes they did members of your closest team. Specifically, the chief of staff, Miquel Real, also accused, received an email and the General Director of Social Inclusion, Enric Juan, eight. All of them have dates from August 8, as EL MUNDO has been able to verify. In fact, in the case of Real, special attention is paid to the emails it receives between August 4 and 20.

These are crosses of documents with which the vice president's team tries to collect data on what happened. In her statement before the judge, Oltra reiterated that she knew about the complaint on August 4 when her ex-husband called her to ask her to explain the summons that had arrived at her home.. It was then that he informed his chief of staff and the undersecretary of the Ministry, Francesc Gamero.

The police report supports this thesis, but certifies that his closest staff was aware on those dates of all the movements that had been carried out up to that moment: from the complaint and the investigation in the juvenile center to the offices of the Prosecutor's Office and the order of distance from the educator. His main movement was to initiate on August 8 the file that the Valencia Court described as “parajudicial” in which it was concluded that the minor had no credibility.

The examination of the communications between all the members of Oltra's cabinet was requested by one of the accusations, that of the Gobierna-Te association led by Cristina Seguí, given the suspicion that she might have been aware of the case months before and would have maneuvered to cover it up

The Police concluded the screening of the emails on March 23 and sent their report to the court on May 10. Six days later, he joined the case, the Prosecutor's Office reported favorably on the 26th that he was responding to the claim and the judge lifted the summary secrecy in an order dated June 1.
