Agents of the Civil Guard have arrested a person in Los Barrios (Cádiz) as the alleged perpetrator of the theft of 28,000 euros from a 69-year-old woman. The detainee had been hired to carry out a reform in the victim's home, where he stole the money from his life savings.

As explained by the Civil Guard in a note, after the robbery was reported, the agents focused the investigation on a person who had been hired to carry out a reform in the home, a circumstance that he took advantage of to obtain a copy of the key the house, whose lock he had replaced himself as part of the reform.
