Free and discounted travel for young people in Europe: how to apply and when to catch the train or bus

  • Being born between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2005

When to apply for the discount

Requesting this advantage is very simple. You must register in the form on the website of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda to confirm that you meet the requirements. If so, you will receive a personal and non-transferable code that you must use to purchase the trips on the websites of the respective operators, which will be where the discounts will be applied..

In fact, you can already buy discounted tickets on the Renfe website. To do this, select the 'Young summer' option in the “Discounts, assistance services and promotional codes” section and enter the personal code.
