Education allows the equivalence of the category of National Police officer to the title of Superior Technician of FP
The new system of Vocational Training (FP) allows the equivalence of the category of Police officer of the basic scale of the National Police Corps to the title of Higher Technician of Vocational Training, as reported by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in a communiqué, in which he emphasizes that in this way he responds to a demand from the group that will allow his access to other formative itineraries such as the university.
The order, published this Wednesday, July 19, by the Official State Gazette (BOE), establishes that the candidates who obtain the appointment as a career officer of Police Officer (first category) in the Basic Scale of the National Police Corps, after passing all the phases of the selection process, obtain generic equivalence to the title of Higher Technician corresponding to Vocational Training, for academic purposes and for access to public and private employment.
According to the ministry, applicants must meet the requirements of being in possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; have passed the training course or courses of between 1,600 and 2,000 hours and the 600-hour practical training module in the workplace established in the corresponding study plan for the basic scale.
The application will be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
