Securitas will monitor Sareb properties to prevent 'squats' for 80 million
Securitas has won the contract worth 80 million euros that Sareb put out to tender with the aim of protecting its properties against 'squatting' and other types of criminal acts, according to the details of the award that appear on the State Contracting Platform.
Sareb approved the award to Securitas of the two lots that made up the contract on July 27. The digital 'VozPópuli' first reported the result of this tender.
In lot 1, the Securitas offer has thus prevailed over the offers of Prosegur and Grupo Control thanks to the evaluation of subjective criteria, since the objective criteria received a worse score. In the case of the second batch, it obtained a better score in both criteria compared to Prosegur.
The objective of the contract is “to have security measures and controls available to prevent and manage damage, acts of vandalism, occupation and any other risk” that could affect the properties owned by Sareb. Alarm installation is also included..
Given that the management of the properties is delegated to the 'servicers', they will be directly responsible for the orders, the management of the contract and its correct follow-up, despite the fact that Sareb is the contracting entity.
Securitas will have to provide static and dynamic surveillance services, implementation of auxiliary means, custody of keys, attendance services, technical maintenance services, daily, weekly or monthly reports and auxiliary services..
