One dead and three injured when a car and a truck collide in Tortosa

The driver of a car has died and three other people have been injured, one of them in critical condition, when colliding head-on with a truck that has invaded the lane in the opposite direction on the C-12 near Tortosa (Tarragona).

As reported by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT), the accident occurred around 3:48 p.m. this Friday at kilometer 21.6 of the C-12 in Tortosa, when, for reasons that are being investigated, a truck invaded the opposite direction and has collided head-on with a tourism.

Due to the accident, the driver of the car has died, while another person has been evacuated in critical condition to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona and two others have been transferred to the Verge de la Cinta Hospital in Tortosa, one with injuries of varying degrees and the other other slight.
