The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated in his address to the nation this Monday that he has at his disposal “very clear information that Russia is interested in provoking a war in the Middle East.”

“We see Russian propagandists gloating. “We see Moscow's Iranian friends openly supporting those who attacked Israel,” Zelensky said in his late-night address on Monday, referring to the massacre caused by Hamas members who infiltrated Israel on Saturday to kill, torture and take hostages. to hundreds of Israelis.

The Ukrainian head of state released this message after meeting with his military and foreign intelligence services. “This is of fundamental importance for us, not only for Ukraine but also for all of Europe,” Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian leader recalled that “the world wars of the past began with local aggressions,” and assured that Ukraine knows “how to confront this threat.”

“We are working on the next steps. And most importantly: we defend the need for maximum unity throughout the world,” Zelensky declared.

The president of Ukraine addressed the NATO Parliamentary Assembly held in Denmark remotely this Monday to underline the similarities he sees between the modus operandi of Hamas against Israel and the Russian Federation in its aggression against Ukraine.

Zelensky also highlighted that Iran supports both Russia and Hamas in their actions against Ukraine and Israel, and called on the parliaments and governments of the world to take strong measures against those who threaten human life and the international order.
