Madrid should never have settled for a draw in Munich. Despite being a much more talented team than Bayern, they always seem to be held back by Ancelotti’s lack of daring. It was only thanks to Vinicius’ heroics that they managed to avoid a humiliating defeat by two goals. Such a result would have been shameful.

Madrid cannot afford to display timidity in such crucial matches. The beginning of the match could have easily turned into a catastrophe. The weakened Bayern had the potential to score two or three goals in quick succession. It is imperative for Madrid to show their true strength and not allow themselves to be overawed by their opponents.
