The escape of a former Osasuna executive comes to an end after six days: "He is already in prison"

The former director of Osasuna Jesús Peralta García entered the Pamplona jail this Thursday “voluntarily” to serve his five-year prison sentence, legal sources report. “I prefer not to know where he is,” his own lawyer said late this Thursday in conversation with El Confidencial. “I could have entered yesterday, I could have entered today, or I could have entered tomorrow”.

The Supreme Court confirmed Peralta's conviction last January, considering it proven that the club's Board of Directors paid players to fix matches in the 2013-2014 season: “The president, two directors and the manager agree with two Real Betis footballers, who have ancestry in the dressing room, to pay them 650,000 euros so that they beat Valladolid (who was fighting for permanence in the category like Osasuna) and lose against the Navarrese club “.

The investigation into what is known as the Osasuna case also revealed that more than two million euros had been extracted from the club's accounts irregularly, so that in addition to the crime of sports corruption, the sentence included misappropriation and document falsification: “When this amount is detected by external control bodies, an attempt is made to cover up or cover up”. “The same thing happens with a loan that asks a fan for 600,000 euros that the Osasuna football club ends up repaying, without the destination of such investment having been proven”.

The former manager of the club, Ángel María Vizcay, the former president, Miguel Ángel Archanco, and the former treasurer, Sancho Bandrés, were also convicted of these events.. Vizcay entered prison on July 27 and, a day later, the other two did the same, but after not hearing from Peralta, the Navarra Court requested his capture: “Include this search warrant (request) in the computer system and in the automated files of the Security Forces and Corps”.

According to the resolution itself, his defense had communicated that he was in Valencia, but when asked by El Confidencial, the lawyer denied this information: “You would have to ask the person who gave the information, because it does not conform to reality.”.

Peralta had already tried to postpone his imprisonment for medical reasons and the Court of Navarra rejected this request, ruling out “a very serious illness with incurable conditions.” His lawyer will now return to the fray with the same argument to request his release, but after what happened in the last six days, he faces a new challenge: proving that there is no flight risk.

Arrested in Formentera a man wanted by Italy for alleged crimes against sexual freedom

The Local Police of Formentera has arrested a man on whom a European search warrant weighed to be extradited to Italy. Justice was looking for him for his alleged participation in the commission of crimes against sexual freedom.

As reported by the Consell, the arrest took place this Thursday around 9:00 p.m., when the Police received a notice warning that a vehicle was circulating through Sant Ferran in an erratic and reckless manner..

A patrol went to the place and, after locating the car, they stopped and identified the driver, noting that this person was being sought through a European order to be extradited to Italy for his alleged participation in serious crimes against sexual freedom..

The water restrictions reach one of the great tourist centers of the country. The Malaga City Council has informed this Friday that the water in all the showers scattered along the beaches is going to be cut off. A measure that is part of a package that is intended to raise awareness among citizens about the delicate situation of water reserves and that is adopted in the middle of the high season.

The councilor for the Environmental Sustainability Area, Penélope Gómez, accompanied by the mayor of Beaches, Teresa Porras, has warned that the cuts will be applied “immediately”, although in the case of showers they will be cut progressively because “it will take a series of days to travel the coast”.

Gómez has reassured the public by ensuring that the water supply in homes in Malaga will not be affected and has revealed the creation of a work team to coordinate the measures that involve other municipal areas. This will carry out continuous monitoring and evaluation of the approved decisions, which will be readjusted according to the evolution of the situation..

The Consistory points out that the consumption of beach showers does not reach 0.24% of the total, but has defended the suspension of this service as a way of raising awareness among the population so that they make responsible use of public resources..

On the impact that this specific measure could have in the middle of the tourist season, Teresa Porras specified that “we have a help that is the footbaths, with which, within the subject, we can cry with one eye”. The councilors have explained that the flushing program will not be affected, since groundwater is used. Neither are the ornamental fountains that have a closed water circuit.

Regarding public drinking fountains, it has been decided not to cut off the supply due to the summer period and the high temperatures that are being registered, and because “it only represents 0.057%” of total consumption.

3,000 euros fine for excessive consumption: the drastic decision of the people of Benamargosa

The municipalities of Malaga continue to take measures to try to save water in the face of the persistent drought and, in the case of Benamargosa, the City Council announced this Friday sanctions of up to 3,000 euros for irregular water consumption.

This was announced by its mayor, Salvador Arcas, through a municipal proclamation, in which he warned of the serious shortage of water resources for the supply in the Axarquía region, where this town of barely 1,600 inhabitants is located..

With the aim of guaranteeing the water supply, Benamargosa was forced to carry out supply cuts at night, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., until the tanks recover water. Now, a water meter inspection campaign is going to start, for the regularization of home consumption and denunciation of offenders.

The culture sector is suspicious of the change of model in Seville: "They want another Malaga"

Intense week for the world of culture in Seville. The decision to cancel the 2023 edition of the European Film Festival due to its incompatibility with the Latin Grammy Awards has provoked a lot of criticism in the sector, which has been noting a change in the model with the PP ruling the city council and the Junta de Andalucía. In the background, the rivalry with Málaga underlies, although the pulse goes beyond localisms and the debate on the capital: we are talking about two ways of managing culture even within the same party.

“From what we have seen, I would prefer that it not even be held in 2024, let it go,” says Manuel Grosso, the first director and ideologue of the Seville Film Festival, when asked about the idea of moving the event to spring. 20 years ago, when he promoted what is today the main European film festival of the moment, he set November as the only possible date. “It allowed us to find a gap in the calendar to catch trending films and grow little by little”. The city council has now announced that it will postpone its celebration to April, a month in which the city is overturned with the Fair and Easter, and at the gates of the Cannes Film Festival. “It is an unfeasible date. The Cannes festival is held a week later and it will take everything”, summarizes.

Why experiment with a change of date in a reference appointment and that came to gather 75,000 attendees last year? According to the city council, because all the “stage spaces” of the city will be occupied by the celebration of the Latin Grammys, an international event that will put Seville in the spotlight, as it will be held for the first time outside the United States. However, Grosso, like other sources consulted in the sector, associates it with a move to gain time and promote the change in model desired by the new mayor, José Luis Sanz..

“I perfectly understand Sanz. He has said that he wanted a change and as a good boy from his party what he wants is a second Malaga: a film festival more similar to the one there, more popular, with red carpets and more well-known characters.. But here what we have is something else”, assesses Grosso, who introduces the Malaga issue for the first time, repeated over and over again these days in the gossip of the sector. The new mayor of Seville has acknowledged that he does not intend to “make the same cultural policy” as Antonio Muñoz (PSOE), his predecessor: “Many Sevillians have voted for me thinking that Seville deserved a much higher quality film festival and I am going to work for it”.

A model change

The postponement of the festival comes a few days after the resignation of the manager of the Institute of Culture and the Arts of Seville. José Lucas Chaves, who was already in charge in the last term of the popular, resigned a month after his appointment. He alleged “personal reasons”, although some voices point to the little room for maneuver that this cultural manager had in a council where the General Directorate of Culture had been eliminated, shared with Sports and led by Minerva Salas, whose professional career has focused on the representation of soccer players.

The controversy over the festival is added to that caused by the idea of creating a large contemporary art museum in Las Atarazanas, the medieval shipyards promoted in the 13th century by Alfonso X the Wise. According to Diario de Sevilla last week, the Junta de Andalucía intends to transfer part of the collection of the Andalusian Center for Contemporary Art (CAAC), located on the Isla de la Cartuja, to this abandoned space, which would aspire to receive a multitude of visitors and reinforce the offer of the historic center.

As has happened with the controversy over the festival, numerous representatives of the cultural sector expressed their misgivings on social networks.. The most critical point to the blow to the CAAC, a space for local alternative culture, to create a museum in the most touristic area of the city. The management of the cultural contents of this 13th century building is the responsibility of the Cajasol Foundation. With the absolute majority of Juanma Moreno, Culture and Tourism were assumed by Arturo Bernal, former CEO of Extenda and former general director of Tourism and Planning Costa del Sol, an entity dependent on the Diputación de Málaga. Since then, little by little professionals trusted by Malaga have been incorporated, consolidating the relay and a new vision.

“They bring the Malaga model”, points out this source, who defines this way of understanding culture as “more of a franchise”, “of photos, of the masses and with a lot of investment behind it”. A vision that some resemble the first movements of the new mayor of Seville, who wants to apply changes in the cultural management of the city. It is another way of understanding it, but it also needs much more investment”, sums up the first director of the Seville Film Festival, Manuel Grosso. The film sector has shown its frontal rejection of the decision. In addition, they accuse the city council of making the decision without consulting the sector.

For his part, the new mayor, José Luis Sanz, accused his predecessor, Antonio Muñoz, of “letting the contest die” by losing the qualification of the European Film Academy, “which no longer announced its nominations taking advantage of the Seville event “. “It lacks a leap in quality,” he told the media.

JxCAT continues without designating interlocutors to negotiate the investiture of Sánchez

While the rest of the formations are doing their homework, JxCAT continues without designating its interlocutors to negotiate the investiture of Pedro Sánchez. Neither with the PSOE, nor with the ERC, which continues to cry out in the desert for uniting a position among the independentistas before going to present a position in Madrid. According to Junts sources, it is a way of saying, without saying it, that there is only one valid spokesperson on this issue: the former Catalan president and MEP Carles Puigdemont.

Puigdemont, from his vacations in the south of France and his Twitter account, only dedicates himself to torpedoing any trial balloon that arrives, both from the ERC and from the Socialists. Any initiative in favor of dialogue runs up against the wall of the founder of the party. The last blow has been against the proposal that Catalan can be spoken in Congress by changing the regulation: “At no point in the regulation does it say that there is an obligation to use Spanish, or the prohibition to use another official language. Therefore, the political will of the presidency is enough. And until now there has never been “.

The PSOE has delegated to the acting Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, to assemble the wickerwork of the investiture. Yolanda Díaz has done the same with Jaume Asens. And ERC has designated a team of interlocutors with which a futsal team could be integrated: Teresa Jordà, Gabriel Rufián, Senator Sara Bailac, the general secretary, Marta Rovira, the spokesperson Marta Vilalta, the former councilor Juli Fernàndez and the leader of the parliamentary group in Parliament, Josep Maria Jové. The absence of Turull, the silence of the formation and Puigdemont's tweets: the perfect recipe to derail the investiture in slow motion during the summer period.

Turull is the key man. It forms a bridge between Carles Puigdemont, the sector of Laura Borràs and the pragmatists made up of former councilors and mayors who see with concern the drift that the formation is taking, so far from Jordi Pujol, Artur Mas and the rest of the historical referents of the extinct Convergència.

Fill the gap

And the Turull vacuum is being filled on social networks by all the opponents of the investiture. Indeed, we agreed to amnesty and the right to self-determination. But that is not what you accepted when you allowed the investiture of Pedro Sánchez. That's why Laura Borràs voted no. Or Borràs herself, Torra's protégé, and president of JxCAT, retweeting criticism of articles by the top Republicans in the newspaper Ara saying that the current situation is an opportunity.

In JxCAT, they fear that ERC's loyalty is not with them, no matter how much from Pere Aragonès onwards everything is calls for unity with those of Carles Puigdemont, but with the Spanish left. In other words, Esquerra is more left than Catalan, for them, according to Junts sources. And, therefore, mistrust prevails.

no bridges

The relationship between Carles Puigdemont and the president of ERC is non-existent. they don't talk. And with Marta Rovira, the fugitive former president has not maintained any contact for more than a year, according to the founder of Junts himself..

In addition, half of ERC's approaches —talking about the transfer of commuters or improving financing— are described as treason by the people of JxCAT. The commitment of Junts in general, and of Puigdemont in particular, is ideological purity. And the only way to appear pure is to narrow the field. Raise only amnesty and referendum. Exactly what the Government, as Bolaños has warned, does not want to talk about. The independence formation, meanwhile, is managing its silence. They understand that this will still be long: Alberto Núñez Feijóo will have to present his candidacy first. The process will be slow and in JxCAT they are reserving.

Moncloa recovers contacts with Tesla for the gigafactory in Valencia

The American manufacturer of electric cars Tesla maintains interest in Spain in the search for sites for a new factory for electric vehicles or batteries that complements the infrastructure that it already has in place in Berlin (Germany). After the leak of the conversations with the Valencian Generalitat, which occurred a few days after the municipal and regional elections on May 28, the company chaired by Elon Musk expressed its anger at the breach of confidentiality and cut off communication for several days. However, in recent weeks contacts have been resumed and now it is the central government that has liaised with the entity through the Moncloa Economic Office, directed by Manuel de la Rocha, as El Confidencial has learned. from knowledgeable sources.

The institutional dialogue is at risk of what happens with the Executive of Pedro Sánchez, now in office and pending to obtain support for a new investiture or call new general elections for the end of the year if the conservative Alberto Núñez Feijóo does not add enough support either. However, the forecast is that the talks will resume in September, if Tesla does not definitively opt for one of the possible alternative locations in France or Italy beforehand.. A possible meeting between Musk and Sánchez is not ruled out, as has already happened with the French president, Emmanuel Macron, and the Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni.

The Valencian Generalitat, now in the hands of the popular Carlos Mazón, also already has the contacts to resume the negotiations that started with the team of the former socialist president Ximo Puig. Asked about this matter during a visit to the land that will house the Volkswagen gigafactory in Sagunto, Mazón confirmed that Telsa is still “looking for locations.”. “Officially, there are no negotiations, there can always be talks and we try to carry them out with privacy, not secrecy, trying to take any investment that may come to the Valencian Community to the best port,” said the popular baron in statements collected by Europa Press. The new Consell is in the middle of the folder transfer phase and, in fact, has not yet appointed a new technical team in charge of managing industrial investors on behalf of the regional Administration.

In what there is a coincidence in the sources consulted is that Tesla will hardly arrive in time to take advantage of the batch of European aid called by the Ministry of Industry for the manufacture of batteries, endowed with 850 million euros. Neither for the window for investments oriented to the value chain of electric car manufacturing, which has a budget of 344 million euros in grants and 215 million in loans.. The deadlines for the presentation of projects of the second Perte VEC opened on July 17 and ends on September 15. However, whether or not to access these economic incentives, for which other brands such as Volkswagen or Ford will bid, does not seem to be going to condition the final decision of Elon Musk's company, according to the same sources..

The American executives who visited the possible locations in Valencia several weeks ago assessed the urban planning instruments contemplated by Spanish legislation, especially the possibility that the regional Administration, as has happened with the Volkswagen factory in Sagunto, could expropriate the land to provide the necessary land to house the factory. Cheste, a few kilometers from Valencia, is the best positioned location. The factor of the facilities in the urban processing, the geographical location, the railway and port links and the training capacity summarize the main strengths of the Valencian alternative. Actually, they are the same ones that led the German manufacturer and its subsidiary PowerCo to choose Parc Sagunt.

Tesla is having trouble in Germany to expand its vehicle and battery factory. They are environmental reasons linked to waste management and the possible impact on protected waters in the surroundings of the industrial complex.. The American manufacturer wants to expand the production capacity of the factory from half a million cars a year to one million due to the good reception of its cars in Europe. The possibility of Spain hosting the second Tesla plant on the continent is open. She is not the only candidate. But neither is it the one with the worst options.

Podemos raises the tone for Morocco and the case of Ceuta angers Sumar in full negotiation

If this Thursday Podemos charged against the “complacency” of Pedro Sánchez with Morocco, in the middle of the holidays of the acting president in a country that “continues to violate fundamental rights”, the alarms of the purple ones sounded again shortly after. El Confidencial published this same day several internal executive wasaps, which reveal how Moncloa admitted to seeking “a political strategy with Morocco” after the invasion of 12,000 people in Ceuta.

The crisis ended with the change of position on the Sahara, which angered Sánchez's government partner, his parliamentary allies and the opposition, and the messages in question were on the telephone delivered to the Justice by the vice president of Ceuta, Mabel Deu , prosecuted together with the former government delegate Salvadora Mateos. Both are accused of having committed a crime of continued prevarication by illegally returning to Morocco 55 minors who entered Spain two years ago.. There are several messages between Deu and Isabel Valldecabres, the former chief of staff of the then first vice president, Carmen Calvo.

These messages, which have initially been criticized by Podemos, have fallen like a stone in Yolanda Díaz's party, generating deep discomfort.. Late on Thursday, however, Sumar was still silent..

If the position of the Chief Executive with Morocco has generated deep discomfort among his partners, even more so after the 37 deaths at the Melilla fence in 2022, the messages published by this newspaper shift the focus directly to the Chief of Staff of whom He was the right hand of Sánchez, but also of the politician who continues to lead the Interior, today in office, despite having been politically burned by various controversies.

The wasaps also document that the Minister of Social Rights and Purple Secretary General, Ione Belarra, directly opposed the handing over of these minors, leaving a written record. Pablo Echenique, leader of Podemos and former parliamentary spokesman, echoed some of these messages. “We have to invent a procedure”, “we can bend the hand of the Prosecutor's Office”, infamous messages about the illegal expulsion of 55 minors. @ionebelarra's ministry, the only one who tried to stop it. That's why they don't want @Podemos to be in the government,” criticized Echenique through her profile on the social network Twitter.

During the afternoon, Juan Carlos Monedero, co-founder of the party, demanded an answer from Díaz's party. “How not to make noise —he raised— when the PSOE demonstrates its inertia to return to its old ways?”. With Morocco, and in particular with Marlaska, it rains it pours. In the famous and disputed interview with Díaz in Lo de Évole, in April of this year, the second vice president referred to the Alaouite kingdom as a “dictatorship”, only to later find herself disavowed by the Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares.. And he even affirmed that, if it had been up to her, Marlaska would not have continued in his position after the deaths at the hands of the police of the neighboring country at the fence of Melilla.

Marlaska has been a piece of big game for parties like ERC and EH Bildu, fundamental allies of the Executive in the previous legislature, and necessarily in the next one, if Sánchez manages to tie the necessary consensus. Until now, even Belarra has remained silent, at a time when the balloon of political activity has deflated after two consecutive electoral campaigns, and just 15 days after the constitution of the Cortes. The left to the left of the PSOE has not revealed its movements, but the messages revealed this Thursday delve into a deep wound that has been sustained for years.

Sánchez's stay in Marrakech is a political message of friendship, according to the Moroccan press

First there was joy for the country chosen by President Pedro Sánchez to spend his summer vacations. “Welcome, Mr. Sánchez!”, headlined, for example, Le Collimateur, a small Moroccan digital newspaper. The Rabat authorities wanted the news to get out and that is why the first outlet to report it was, on Tuesday afternoon, Rue 20, a newspaper considered to be related to the security apparatus, which even uploaded a video with the head of government to its website. Spaniard, his wife, Begoña Gómez, and their two daughters touring the famous Jmaa el Fnaa square in Marrakech.

Then came the turn to interpret Sánchez's gesture. “Pedro Sánchez's visit to Morocco is very symbolic,” says the newspaper Le 360, described as the closest to the royal palace and which belongs to Mounir Majidi, the king's private secretary, according to Moroccan journalistic sources..

“His trip to Morocco seeks to send a message of friendship to Morocco, since relations between Rabat and Madrid have rarely been so solid thanks, in particular, to the irrevocable support of the Spanish Government for the option of autonomy for Western Sahara under sovereignty Moroccan”, adds. This support was revealed in the letter that Sánchez sent to the monarch on March 14, 2022, the content of which the Spanish Government has not disclosed..

“Pedro Sánchez, on vacation in Morocco: the PP rants”, headlines H24 Info, another digital, setting the tone for criticism of the main opposition party, but also Sumar and, even more so, Vox for not supporting the president in its effort to strengthen ties with its neighbor to the south.

Rock star

“His detractors, especially in the PP and in the far-right Vox party, particularly Moroccan, have wanted to take advantage of the occasion and have criticized Morocco as the destination chosen for their vacations,” continues Le 360. “The right and the extreme right, as well as the extreme left, harshly attacked the concessions made by the Spanish government to Rabat”, but the “Moroccan ogre” is no longer scary, as was demonstrated in the last elections. His cursers “have not hesitated to cover themselves with ridicule”. “His youth, his modernity and his cool attitude make Sánchez a close friend of rock on the Spanish political scene,” he concludes..

Sánchez has gone to Morocco twice so far this year, the second now on a private visit, but where he said he wanted to travel was to Algeria in a typical presidential boutade. “I would love to be the one to go to Algeria,” he declared, at the end of August 2022, during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz near Berlin..

It does not seem that, for now, such a trip is possible, judging by the comments that the presidential vacation arouses in the Algerian press. Sánchez “has become a hostage in the hands of the majzen [circles of royal power], incapable of defending the interests of his country against Rabat,” writes Echrouk, Algeria's main daily.. His chronicle is full of lies about the alleged business of Begoña Gómez in Morocco, while letting fall, in its headline, that the Sánchez family travels at expenses paid by King Mohamed VI. The Moncloa denied it in advance.

“In matters of treason, corruption and deceit, only the first step counts; the others occur naturally and this is the case of Pedro Sánchez” with his vacations in Morocco, affirms, for its part, La Patrie News, an Algerian newspaper considered close to the Army. Sánchez “is without a doubt the victim of a form of blackmail, judging by the haughty and domineering way in which Rabat dictates his instructions to Madrid,” he adds.. Finally, he expressed the wish that “an individual who betrayed the Saharawi cause and broke the consensus that prevailed in Spain” not continue as president..

President Sánchez and the PSOE have avoided, for years, criticizing the violation of human rights by the Moroccan authorities. For this reason, the PSOE MEPs —not the other socialists— voted, on January 19, against a resolution urging Morocco to respect them, releasing, among others, three influential journalists sentenced to between five and 15 years.. During Sánchez's stay in Marrakech, the Moroccan Justice has continued to act as a repressive arm.

Earlier this week, the court of first instance in Ain Sebaa (Casablanca) sentenced Said Boukioud, a 48-year-old Moroccan, to five years in prison for alleged offenses against the king. At the end of December 2020, when he was living in Qatar, Boukioud criticized on Facebook the establishment of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel.. Foreign policy is an exclusive competence of the monarch.

When he learned that he was being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office, Boukioud deleted those messages and closed his Facebook account, but he was still sentenced two and a half years after writing them, his lawyer, Hassan Essouni, revealed last Wednesday.. “It is incomprehensible,” declared the lawyer.

The Barcelona City Council summons Parcs i Jardins for the fallen palm tree in the Raval that killed a girl

The Barcelona City Council has summoned the Parcs i Jardins on Friday at 9:00 a.m. to address why the palm tree in the Raval neighborhood that this Thursday split and fell on a girl, who died from the impact, has split.

“All the people involved will meet and we have to work together to clarify the facts,” the deputy mayor and accidental mayoress, Maria Eugènia Gay, who went to the scene and expressed her condolences to relatives, told reporters. and friends of the young.

The consistory has also commissioned a study to clarify why the palm tree has fallen, and for their part, the Mossos d'Esquadra have also opened an investigation into the death of the young woman.

The head of the Barcelona Fire Department, Joan Carles Cejalvo, has detailed that around 4:00 p.m. they received notice that one had fallen and was “affected”.

He has said that it took them five minutes to arrive and once there his health worker verified that the girl had died, so they stopped their work so that the Mossos and the judicial committee could work..

Once the Mossos have taken the necessary samples and the judicial delegation has removed the body, the firefighters have continued their work to remove the palm tree and to be able to reestablish the passage through the street.

Asked about the first indications of why the palm tree has fallen, Cejalvo has answered that they still do not have any hypothesis and has stated that they do not know when was the last time the tree was checked or maintained.

cleaning van

The crown of the fallen palm tree has also impacted on a van of the municipal cleaning service, and the firefighters have also removed it.

A witness to the events, a bar worker from where he witnessed the fall of the tree, explained to Europa Press that the BCNeta employee who was in the truck was unharmed thanks to the fact that at that moment she had gotten out of the vehicle to change the bag of a trash can.

They rescue six mountaineers who were stuck in the Pico Almanzor de Gredos (Ávila)

Emergency personnel have rescued six mountaineers who were stranded in the Sierra de Gredos at the height of the municipality of Zapardiel de la Ribera, in the province of Ávila, sources from the 112 Emergency Service have informed Europa Press.

The notice of the situation occurred at around 11:53 p.m. this Thursday when it was reported that the six mountaineers had been in Gredos for two days and were trying to descend through the Tejea Gorge but were unable to progress anywhere..

The Emergency Coordination Center of the Junta de Castilla y León has mobilized the rescue helicopter of the Junta de Castilla y León with two rescuers, one of them a nurse. He also gave notice of the incident to the Civil Guard and, by protocol, to the Ávila Fire Department.

After establishing visual contact with the mountaineers, the rescue helicopter remained parked so that the rescuers could descend.. After verifying that the six adults were in perfect health, they have been evacuated in the rescue helicopter to a safe area in Barco de Ávila.
