Madrid and Barça will play a summer Clásico in the United States… With the Super League in the background
Real Madrid and Barcelona will repeat the American classic this coming summer. The two most important clubs in Spanish football will be part of the Soccer Champions Tour, a tournament organized by Legends that will also feature Arsenal, Manchester United, Milan and Juventus, and which will take place from July 22 to August 2 in eight stadiums in the United States.
Barça will debut on July 22 against Juventus in San Francisco, while Madrid will do so on the 23rd against Milan in Los Angeles, at the famous Rose Bowl where one of the most famous finals in college football is played..
The Whites and the Catalans will play a total of four games, for the three for Milan and Juve. United and Arsenal will only participate in one.
The Spanish classic will arrive at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas on July 29, changing the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas used in the last edition. Except for surprise, Carlo Ancelotti's team will carry out a preseason stage at the University of Los Angeles (UCLA) facilities.
The six teams that have decided to participate in this mini-tournament are six of the founders of the Super League, although now only Madrid, Barça and Juventus continue to publicly defend the project. The holding of this type of tournament and the presence of the Legends group and the Sixth Street investment fund, which has different agreements with Madrid and Barça, keep intact the enthusiasm for the new competition in the management of the Bernabéu and the Camp Nou.
