Sergio Llull became Real Madrid's all-time top scorer in the Endesa League this Sunday after scoring sixteen points in the first game of the playoff for the title against Dreamland Gran Canaria and adding a total of 6,027, surpassing Felipe Reyes, who scored 6,017 before retiring.

The Balearic international arrived at the white club in 2006 and this year he is celebrating his seventeenth season, accumulating a total of 25 titles since then. This Sunday he needed seven points to climb to first place on the Real Madrid podium and he achieved it in spades after hitting his only two-point shot, four of his five three-pointers and the two free throws he had available.

In addition, the white captain today became the first player on his team to reach 900 three-pointers in ACB. Since the inclusion of the line of three in 1984, only one other player has managed to exceed this figure in the competition with the same club: Juan Carlos Navarro and his 1,179 three-pointers with Barça.

Last Wednesday, Llull reached his thousandth match defending the Real Madrid shirt and became the second player in history to do so after Felipe Reyes, who retired with 1,046 appearances.

Llull, with his 6,027 points, thus remains in first place, Reyes and his 6,017, with second, third is Chechu Biriukov with 5,311, fourth, Alberto Herreros with 4,615 and fifth Jaycee Carroll with 4,258.
