The Ciutat de Valencia will decide the promotion to the First Division, after Deportivo Alavés and Levante did not go beyond a 0-0 draw in Mendizorroza, with chances for both in an open final match.

Alavés tried, but they ran into the wall of a Levante that had the clear idea of destroying the local game during the first 45 minutes, to then take a step forward in the second half, although on the few occasions they created they found themselves Don two successful goalkeepers.

The locals gained ground from the start after the first warning from Joni Montiel who tried her luck from far away.

The albiazules were growing and entered a phase in which they cornered the Levantines, although without finishing the plays. Luis Rioja, with a changed leg, kept the defense of Javier Calleja's team in suspense, who was in no hurry during the match and gave up playing long balls.

Neither team wanted to make mistakes and they did not risk too much. The clash slowed down, but Alavés was still the one who presented a candidacy for the goal exclusively due to the possession of the ball that they had during the first half, in which the rain accompanied them.

Iborra and Pepelu began to come into play, but Levante had a hard time advancing, especially because Jorge De Frutos couldn't get into play, well watched by Nahuel Tenaglia.

Granota's defense did not fail either and held up well to the arrivals of the Basques, who were diluted in the last meters against the opposition of their rival.

Despite everything, every time Luis Rioja entered the game, the match received a spark. The individual duels were won by the babazorros, who were very attentive to the rebounds and judiciously squeezed the ball out of the levantinistas.

It was a first half with hardly any chances but with more offensive proposal from the locals, while the visitors were in no hurry and preferred to put away their clothes and not offer spaces to the people of Vitoria.

The staging of Levante was different. Javier Calleja's men went on the attack and were close to moving the score. An error in Antonio Sivera's goal kick left Joni Montiel with space who forced the albiazul goalkeeper to stretch to avoid the first of the night.

Toni Moya responded after eight minutes with a direct free kick that Femenías cleared, in a great action.

By then, the Valencians had already taken a step forward in attack and the albiazul found more spaces.

Levante needed little to create danger in the local goal and in minute 70, the offside invalidated the penalty awarded by the referee, when Antonio Sivera did not reach a loose ball and ran over Brugué.

In spite of everything, Levante was not very interested in the game going into a round trip, so the set pieces began to take on a capital importance in each action.

Nahuel Tenaglia had his usual chance in those moments, but Femenías caught the ball in front of the goal line in one of the Argentine's shots.

Ten minutes from the end, Levante bared their teeth with a great release of pressure that ended with a one-on-one between Wesley and Sivera, which the goalkeeper from Alicante resolved very well.

The game broke up in the final stretch and both teams played open grave as if there was no second duel in six days.
