Santander, Zara, Movistar, BBVA and Mercadona have been placed in the 'top 5' of the most valuable brands in Spain, according to this year's edition of the Brand Finance Spain 100 ranking, which analyzes a year in which Spanish companies They have increased their value by 8% compared to the year 2022.

Specifically, Banco Santander has been the most valuable Spanish brand, with a value of 16,300 million euros, which represents an increase of 23%, while Zara, the flagship of the Inditex Group, has kept second place with a value brand of 10,600 million euros.

Movistar, with a 33% rise in value, has advanced from fifth to third place in the national ranking, with a valuation of 7.4 billion euros, compared to 5.5 billion registered in 2022.

Likewise, BBVA has been in fourth position in the ranking, registering a growth of 9% in brand value, up to 6,400 million euros, followed by Mercadona (5,700 million euros).

In this way, they complete the 'top 10' of the most valuable brands CaixaBank, which occupies the sixth position, followed by Repsol, El Corte Inglés, Iberdrola and Mapfre.

Specifically, the sum in brand value of the 'top 10' has risen to 67,359 million euros, up to 4.2 million more than what they added in 2022, contributing 57.7% of the total value of the Spain 100 ranking in its Last edition.

Of the brands in the Spanish electricity sector, the one that has registered the greatest increase in brand value is Iberdrola, which has placed ninth in the 'top 10', registering an increase in value of 11%, up to 4,100 million euros. .

The report shows that the hundred most valuable brands in Spain have gained 8% in brand value compared to 2022, which, although as a whole they have totaled up to 116,847 million euros, have not yet exceeded the value they had before the pandemic. , of 118,200 million euros in 2020.
