The Ibex rises 0.95% weekly and accumulates three consecutive days on the rise
The Ibex-35 closed this Friday with a rise of 0.56% compared to Thursday and ended with a rise in the whole week of 0.95% that left it at 9,234.1 points. With the rebound this Friday, the main Spanish selective accumulates three consecutive days of increases.
Earnings prevailed this Friday and led the increases: Ferrovial (+1.92%), Aena (+1.67%), Acerinox (+1.6%), ArcelorMittal (+1.19%) and Unicaja (+ 1.15%). For their part, up to 10 companies closed in the red, with Meliá Hotels (-5.56%) in the lead, followed by Acciona Energía (-4.52%), Colonial (-3.12%), Acciona (-1 .59%) and ACS (-1.42%).
As for the stocks with the highest market capitalization, it was all progress. BBVA grew 0.92%, Iberdrola gained 0.81%, Inditex rose 0.61%, Amadeus 0.49%, and Santander 0.11%.
Regarding the risk premium, this indicator improved slightly, being somewhat below the 108 points with which it closed the day before. The selective started with gains along with its European counterparts, where it was confirmed that French inflation in April rebounded to 5.9% and that the British economy grew one tenth in the first quarter of the year; and it maintained them despite the fact that they were moderated by Wall Street, which at the European close changed sign and fell 0.3%.
The session has been marked by the markets taking advantage of the pause in the macroeconomic calendar to recover part of what was lost during the week, according to the XTB expert, Dario García.
