A 27-year-old man, serious after receiving several shots and stab wounds in La Coruña

A 27-year-old man is in serious condition after being shot and stabbed several times in the early hours of this Sunday in the Coruña town of Ribeira.

The events occurred after 3:00 a.m. on Diego Delicado street. Specifically, at around 3:20 a.m., 112 Galicia received a call from an individual alerting them to a shot in this central street in the municipality of O Barbanza.

With this information, the emergency center notified the National Police, the Local Police and the health services.. Thus, the Galician Health Emergencies Service-061 sent a basic life support ambulance to the scene of the event and health personnel from the Ribeira PAC.

The injured man was transferred to the O Barbanza Hospital and later referred to the Santiago de Compostela University Hospital Complex in serious condition.

Police sources consulted by Europa Press have confirmed that the man received two stab wounds and two stab wounds. The forces of order have an investigation open, although at the moment there are no detainees in relation to this event.
