A 33-year-old British tourist drowned in the waters of Cala Jondal in Ibiza

A 33-year-old British tourist has drowned this Friday in the waters of Cala Jondal, in the Ibizan municipality of Sant Josep, reported SAMU 061. The emergency services received a notice at 3:15 p.m. warning of the sighting of a drowned man “in the middle of the sea.”.

The lifeguards have reached him and have transferred him to a nearby boat where they have begun resuscitation maneuvers in coordination with the 061 central.

The 061 health team has subsequently arrived and has continued unsuccessfully for 40 minutes with resuscitation maneuvers.
