A fishing boat finds a body near Cap de la Nau in Xàbia (Alicante)

A fishing boat has found a body on Tuesday near Cap de la Nau, in Xàbia (Alicante), ten nautical miles from the coast. This is the seventh body located by fishing boats in recent months in the waters of the Marina Alta region, after they found six more bodies in the Dénia area.

The body, in a “very deteriorated” state, has been located before 9:30 a.m. by a fishing boat that has transferred it to the Port of Xàbia, as confirmed by sources from the port to Europa Press. The autopsy will determine the causes of death and the origin of the deceased person.

On March 24, the lifeless bodies of two men were found -one aged 20 and the other between 35 and 40-; while on April 12 they found two other people about two miles from the coast; On May 30, the remains of another one in an advanced state of decomposition and on June 3 they found another body seven miles from the Dénia coast.
