Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo reveals that a tumor has been removed from her chest

The deputy of the PP for Barcelona Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo has revealed that this Friday she had a breast tumor removed after two months ago, in a routine mammogram, signs of cancer were detected in her breast.

“Two months ago, in a routine mammogram, they detected signs of cancer in one breast,” explains Álvarez de Toledo through his Twitter account.

“Yesterday afternoon they performed a tumorectomy on me,” adds the deputy on the social network, where she expresses her gratitude to the “excellent” teams at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz hospital and, especially, to doctors Ruiz Jiménez, Osorio Benítez and Pérez de the fountain.

In addition, the former spokesperson in Congress makes “an emphatic reminder to all women of risk age: early diagnosis saves lives.”
