Electoral debate with Sánchez, Abascal and Díaz on TVE: schedule and where to watch on TV and online

There is less left for the general elections on July 23 and, although the majority of citizens have decided their vote, there is still a key moment to hear what the parties propose for the next four years. This debate comes after the face to face of Sánchez and Feijóo on Antena 3, and the meeting between the spokespersons of the seven main political formations that have their own group in Congress -PP, PSOE, Vox, EH Bildu, PNV, ERC and Sumar -, which was broadcast on RTVE.

Thus, once again RTVE will celebrate this Wednesday, July 19, the final electoral debate before 23-J. It will be a three-way meeting between the candidates for the presidency of the Government, Pedro Sánchez (PSOE), Santiago Abascal (Vox) and Yolanda Díaz (Sumar).

The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Xabier Fortes and will be broadcast at 10:00 p.m. on La 1, Canal 24 horas, TVE Internacional, Radio Nacional, Radio 5, Radio Exterior, the RTVE.es website and the RTVE Play platform.. It will take place in the Prado del Rey studio 6 and will last 90 minutes, divided into three large 24-minute blocks: economy, social policies and pacts.. In addition, at the end each of the candidates will have a golden minute.

Feijoó raised “a debate to seven”

The opening and closing turns of each block and the positions of the candidates for the presidency of the Government on the set have been established by lottery. The stopwatches to measure the times of the interventions, as indicated on the RTVE website, will be managed by professional sports referees.

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has declined to participate in the RTVE proposal of 'Debate to 4'. In an interview on TVE, he stressed that his formation raised “a seven-person debate” so that Pedro Sánchez's “partners” were also present, but he “refused”, since, according to what he said, “it seems that only he is interested in bringing” Yolanda Díaz and Santiago Abascal to that debate.
