Feijóo presents the PP as the "only stronghold" constitutionalist and appeals to the voter of the PSOE after the pacts of Sánchez and Bildu

The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has presented this Friday the PP as the “only redoubt that the constitutionalists have left” and has called on the voters of the PSOE to “take note” of the actions of “sanchismo” and of their pacts with Bildu in this legislature to rebel at the polls on May 28.

“These elections should not serve to wash the conscience of anyone. On the contrary, they should serve to take note of everything they have done and for Spain to once again be a country with a conscience”, Feijóo declared at an act in Valladolid to support the candidate for mayor, Jesús Julio Carnero, in which The president of the Junta de Castilla y León Alfonso Fernández Mañueco has also participated. Before the meeting, they have taken a walk through the city.

As he already did this morning in Toledo, Feijóo has criticized that “sanchismo shut up” in the presence of terrorists on the Bildu lists when it is an “unacceptable provocation”. For this reason, he has said that he is “disgusted” that “sanchismo shut up.”

“To all Sánchez's candidates, to each and every one of them, it is convenient to ask them a question. Are you really going to shut up?”, he questioned, to underline that they should have “an iota of dignity to say 'either we break with Bildu or we leave the PSOE'.

“It cannot be accepted in the name of the State, in the name of democracy, in the name of the dignity of the victims, in the name of the police and the Civil Guard and of Spanish democracy, this ignominy. we are not going to accept it. For that we are, to say what others do not dare”, has warned.

In this sense, he has stressed that the PP is going to denounce him “loud and clear, on behalf of millions of PSOE voters”: “We are disgusted that Bildu has murderers on his election lists”. The PP has been hitting the Sánchez Executive for two days with this matter, in which Vox has gone a step further by registering an initiative to apply the Law on Parties and Congress to urge the outlawing of Bildu. For now, the 'popular' have avoided entering to value this step of those of Santiago Abascal.

“Sánchez's fear” against “the illusion of the PP”

Feijóo has contrasted the “fear of Sánchez's PSOE” with the “illusion of the PP” that they see on the street and has stressed that 28-M “will be remembered in the political calendar of Spanish democracy”. “And we have to choose between a policy that we have been suffering for five years, with frivolity, populism, radicalism and independence, or a change to return to talking about important things,” he emphasized, adding that “to make real change” the only ballot is that of the PP.

As he has been explaining in his latest speeches, he has listed the “endless reasons” that, in his opinion, there are to “repeal sanchismo”, starting with the consequences of the 'only yes is yes' law, which he has described as the “most ignominious law of Spanish democracy”.

Feijóo has recalled the steps of Sánchez this legislature such as the pardons for those convicted of the process, the repeal of the crime of sedition or “reducing the penalties for corruption”, issues that, according to what he has said, are not “priorities” of the citizens. In fact, he has been convinced that “the vast majority” is “tired of the mistakes, concessions and excesses of Sanchismo” and “even more tired of the fact that nobody does anything to prevent it.”

At this point, he has criticized that the 'barons' of the PSOE do not raise their voices in the Federal Committee of the party but rather keep “silence” before the actions of the chief executive. “All Sánchez's candidates are responsible for the effects of sanchismo. Everyone has crossed their arms in the face of every shame in Congress and in the Senate,” he said, adding that for this reason “they deserve the same defeat” on March 28.

“The Beginning of Quiet Change”

On an afternoon spent by water in front of dozens of PP militants from CyL, the head of the opposition has assured that he wants to turn 28M into the “beginning of calm and serene change”, and has valued the economic management they carried out in 1996 and in 2011 the governments of José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy, who left Moncloa “with a better Spain than when they came to government”.

Feijóo has asked his people to unite the people again at the polls around the PP, a “great party” that “was born with the Constitution and has had no other objective than to prop it up and that it is fulfilled throughout the territory”. “Today we are the only redoubt left for the constitutionalists,” he proclaimed before a devoted audience that has yelled at him on several occasions 'president, president'.

He has also referred to Pedro Sánchez's trip to the United States to meet the country's president, Joe Biden, and has stressed that “all the PSOE barons” are holding rallies “morning, afternoon and night” taking advantage of the fact that he is outside of Spain .

Immediately afterwards, he has blamed the President of the Government for not informing the PP of State affairs, such as “changing the consensus policy in the Maghreb countries” or the agreements signed with the US, such as “expanding the ships of war at the base of Rota”.

Commits to burying the train in Valladolid

The leader of the PP, who has thanked the members of CyL for having received him “with this water”, has said that he would like that rain “in all places” because “Spain is thirsty and tired” and they are told that this time “they can't fail”.

Immediately afterwards, he praised his candidate in Valladolid and stressed that he has “more experience than most of the ministers in Spain” and has a project. Having said this, he has promised in Valladolid to face the burying of the train and “transform the city”.
