Four young people from Madrid, injured when giving up a railing and falling off a balcony in Sanxenxo

Four young people from Madrid were injured last morning after falling from a first-floor balcony on Madrid de Sanxenxo street, where they spend the summer.

According to official information provided by the Sanxenxo City Council, the railing on which they were leaning gave way and they rushed into the light well.

The event occurred around 12:45 a.m. this Thursday on Madrid de Sanxenxo street and the injured are all residents of Madrid between the ages of 18 and 19. At the time the accident occurred, there were eight people on the floor, eight friends who were spending a few days on vacation, all from Madrid. According to information provided by municipal sources, one of them is the owner of the property.

As a result of the fall, one of the four young people was seriously injured and had to be transferred to the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Santiago de Compostela.. It is about an 18-year-old boy with the initials ALM

Two other injured were transferred with a less serious prognosis to the Montecelo Hospital in Pontevedra. It's all about PFA. and MCD, both 19 years old.

The fourth young man who was on the balcony, RUB, 18 years old, received assistance from the health personnel of the Baltar health center, in Sanxenxo, and they already gave him a medical discharge.

Members of the Emergency Service and the Sanxenxo Local Police and the Ribadumia Fire Brigade traveled to the place, in addition to four ambulances from Galicia's Health Emergencies-061, as reported by the Public Foundation for Galicia's Health Emergencies-061.

The municipal architect of Sanxenxo will travel throughout the morning of this Thursday to the building to carry out the pertinent urban verifications of the rest of the balconies of the building, number 78 of Madrid de Sanxenxo street.
