A 52-year-old man died this Wednesday and two others were injured during a brawl with bladed weapons that took place in Alicante and that has ended with the arrest of three men between the ages of 25 and 35, accused of the crimes of homicide and injuries.

The National Police explained that the other two injured have already been discharged, while the defendants will remain in police stations until they are brought before the courts.

The event occurred in the vicinity of the José Rico Pérez stadium in Alicante at around 5:30 p.m., the police force has reported, which has stated that the deceased was unconscious on the ground with serious head injuries when the agents arrived.

The agents notified the health services, who tried to save his life without success, although they have been able to help the other two men, who were transferred to the General Hospital of Alicante, also with bleeding wounds on the face and extremities, and where after being treated have been discharged from the hospital.

The three youths were arrested at the scene of the events, where officials of the Judicial Police and Scientific Police of the Alicante Provincial Police Station have been displaced, who together with the Judicial Commission were in charge of removing the body.

The National Police assures that it continues to investigate the facts for its clarification and that it does not know for the moment the reason for said brawl.
