The BOE mistakenly 'repeals' the Constitution and all Spanish regulations for a few minutes
This Wednesday, April 19, and for a few minutes, a computer error caused that on the website of the Official State Gazette (BOE) appeared as ‘repealed’ the Constitution and all the laws of the Spanish legislation.
The legal database Iberley was in charge of detecting this computer error and, according to their website, they immediately informed the BOE, which corrected the error after about 20 minutes.
At first it seemed that the error affected the Constitution and eight other core laws, such as the Civil Code, the General Law of Social Security or the Statute of Workers, but later it was seen that it had affected all the laws of the Spanish legislation, some 12,000.
In any case, it was a computer error in the BOE’s computer database that had no legal effect.
