The minor who was electrocuted with his mother dies when they were cleaning a pool in Torrefarrera

Robert G., the minor who was electrocuted with his mother while they were cleaning a private pool in a Torrefarrera home on May 28, has died as a result of the serious injuries he suffered. His mother, Denise Alina C.. 40 years old, died on the spot while the minor was transferred unconscious to the Sant Joan de Déu hospital in Barcelona. He remained there until his death.

After the sad news was known, the Torrefarrera City Council ordered two days of official mourning, for which reason public events are suspended, the flags will fly at half mast and the Consistory conveys its condolences to the family of the victims. “We are dismayed by these two losses. If the death of a young person is already a tragedy, the loss of a child is terrible. And everything together with a family, is a great disgrace. We accompany the family and their friends in their feelings”, said the mayor of the town Jordi Latorre.

The event took place on May 28 at noon while the victim, accompanied by his underage son, was cleaning the pool with power tools, although it was not completely empty and the terrible accident occurred.. The Mossos d'Esquadra opened an investigation to find out the causes of the accident.
