The PP includes in its candidacy for Güeñes (Vizcaya) an exporter of EH Bildu
The Popular Party includes in its candidacy for Güeñes (Bizkaia) José Manuel Gómez Ruiz, a former member of Eusko Alkartasuna (EA), a member party of the EH Bildu coalition, of which he was a municipal spokesman for several years until he left the corporation in 2019.
PP sources clarify that Gómez Ruiz comes from EA, a split from the PNV, and not from Sortu, the successor party to the former Herri Batasuna. The two formations are part of EH Bildu, in addition to Alternatiba, a split from IU.
Currently, Gómez Ruiz is a member of the PP and occupies third place in the candidacy for the town council, in which the popular ones do not have representation. The 28-M will hardly get any minutes, in 2019, the formation only got 85 votes.
During his time in the City Council, Gómez Ruiz, dedicated to agricultural activity, had a judicial confrontation over a dispute over the boundaries of a piece of land with the former mayor Koldo Artaraz, of the PNV.
