The PP rejects the offer of the PSOE so that the most voted list governs in the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha
The president of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Parliament of Castilla-La Mancha, Fernando Mora, has once again offered to the PP to respect, in a reciprocal way, the most voted list in the municipalities of the region. The socialist proposal has been immediately rejected by the Popular Party.
“Any alternative that involves a party that claims to be in government, such as the PP, allying itself with a radical party, such as Vox, is not going to be good for coexistence and I believe that we must fight for the model of coexistence facilitates governance for all”, he said at a press conference.
In his opinion, it is not good for society to end up appointing mayors “people who are not going to govern for everyone, but who are going to see their policies conditioned by absolutely radical positions and who, of course, are not going to facilitate coexistence “.
“We, in Castilla-La Mancha, continue to maintain the most voted list, that the PP let the most voted list govern, which I believe is ultimately reasonable, to the extent that the citizens are the ones who have stated who wanted to govern them”, pointed out Mora.
“When Mr. Feijóo spoke about the list with the most votes, we thought he was serious, and we believe and want to believe that he still has some seriousness left,” said the socialist leader, who has asked the PP to make “a serious reflection ” about the future he wants for the citizenry.
And that future, Mora has concluded, involves trying to achieve the best for the citizens, which, in his opinion, would be achieved by respecting “in a reliable way” what they wanted at the polls, “which is that the party that governs has been voted the most”.
The case of Albacete
Regarding the fact that the PSOE does not rule out abstaining in Albacete, according to what could be deduced from the words pronounced this Tuesday by the acting mayor, Emilio Sáez, the socialist leader has said that it is a “possibility”.
“We are for facilitating the government to the most voted list”, but the PP must also support the most voted list “if it is socialist”. “That is our discourse”, he pointed out.
