The real estate company that owns a block of flats built in a developing area of Atarfe (Granada) has denounced its complete squatting, in which the Civil Guard is already working with identification tasks.

Sources from the armed institute have informed EFE that the construction company has formalized a complaint for the occupation of a block located on Avenida Rafael Leyva Loro de Atarfe.

It is a building that occupies an entire block that does not yet have the first occupation license, therefore it lacks electricity, water or gas connections.

The same sources have specified that, after receiving the complaint, the agents have gone to the block to carry out the tasks of identifying the squatters.. Until there is a court order, agents can only carry out that identification and tasks dedicated to maintaining public order.

As the newspaper Ideal de Granada has advanced, the squatting began last Friday with a group of residents of Atarfe that has been increasing.

This group of neighbors starred in a brawl with Local Police officers who, in the first instance, asked the first squatters to leave the block.
