Vox renounces appearing in Pozuelo de Calatrava after its candidate announced his vote for the PP "bare-chested"
Vox has decided to withdraw from the electoral race in the Ciudad Real town of Pozuelo de Calatrava after its candidate for mayor, José Antonio Cáceres, assured through his personal Twitter account that he was not affiliated and that he was opposed to the ideology of the party.
The president of Vox Ciudad Real, Luis Blázquez, has explained to questions from the media that he does not know the “hidden motives” that have led his candidate to make these statements, so he was asked to resign from the candidacy.
“We do not know the reasons, they are contradictory behaviors and the party has registered the complete withdrawal of that candidacy. Nothing more to add,” he has abounded.
José Antonio Cáceres himself has shown in his social networks his intention to vote for the PP candidate in the town, Julián Triguero. “Bare-chested I’m going to do it,” he assured.
