A tragic incident occurred in the Swiss town of Solothurn when an airplane transporting 11 paratroopers crashed, leading to the death of the pilot. Fortunately, all 11 passengers managed to save themselves by jumping out of the aircraft before the accident took place. The exact causes of the crash are still under investigation, but the incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 2:00 p.m. local time.

Eyewitnesses reported that the paratroopers were able to jump out of the aircraft and successfully land on the ground before the plane crashed vertically and was completely destroyed. Emergency rescue teams provided medical assistance to the paratroopers after the incident.

The aircraft was owned by a parachuting school based in Granges, a neighboring city of Solothurn. The airfield in Solothurn is recognized as one of the most significant in Switzerland, with around 60,000 air movements recorded annually.
