A woman will be the new CEO of Twitter, but Elon Musk reserves several functions
The billionaire Elon Musk, owner of Twitter, has announced this Thursday in his account that within six weeks a woman -whom he does not give his identity- will operationally direct the company as CEO or executive director.
However, he reserves a good part of the responsibilities of the network -which he names as X/Twitter-, specifically “the executive presidency, the head of technology, the supervision of products, the software and the system operator”.

From the moment he made the purchase of Twitter effective last October for 44,000 million dollars (about 40,300 million euros), Musk assumed the operational direction, also implementing numerous changes in an erratic manner, which earned him numerous criticisms for trying to take charge. of the daily management of such a complex network.
In fact, he himself launched an online survey among users last December to ask them if he should resign from the address, which was approved by 57% of the participants.. Although he said he would abide by the decision, he did not do so at the time.
As the only response, he then tweeted: “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone crazy enough to take that position! After that, I'll just run the software and server teams.”
The company has been severely undercapitalized by losing almost four fifths of its staff, mostly dismissed and in other cases due to voluntary marches.
In addition, the various formulas devised by Musk to make the company profitable -such as charging for verified accounts- have turned out to be a fiasco, and Musk has in fact been forced to return the status of “verified” to important accounts (for example, media of communication or “influencers” with legions of followers) without having paid for it.
