Abascal conveys to Elon Musk that social network X is very useful to combat cancel culture
The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, told the president of the social network popularly known as Twitter, now called X, this Saturday that it is very useful for him to confront the so-called cancel culture.
As reported by Vox, Abascal and Musk coincided at the annual event that the Brothers of Italy group organizes, 'Atreju', in which the North American businessman intervened on Saturday morning and the Spanish political leader will do so on Sunday.
Abascal, according to the testimony of sources from his party, conveyed to Musk the importance he attaches to X for freedom of expression, because it allows combating the ideological cancellation of 'woke' culture and is a very useful tool for Vox. The president of the social network, always according to Vox, already knew the Spanish politician because he saw him in an interview that he found “very interesting.”

This statement from Vox has taken place after a week in which Abascal has received a multitude of criticism for stating from Argentina that “there will be a time when the people want to hang Pedro Sánchez by his feet.”
Last Wednesday, the Socialist Party formalized the complaint against Vox and its president before the Prosecutor's Office for their “clear direct incitement to hatred and discrimination.”. However, Abascal stands by his words. “I don't have to apologize, it's a colloquial expression of the Spanish language,” he said last Thursday on Telecinco.
Apart from the meeting with Musk, in recent weeks, the leader of Vox has traveled to Israel at the invitation of Benjamin Netanyahu and has been able to meet with Milei in Argentina. In addition, American journalist Tucker Carlson visited Spain to interview Abascal and learn more about Ferraz's protests.
