Madeleine McCann's parents celebrate their daughter's 20th birthday: "We will never give up"
Madeleine McCann's parents have celebrated their daughter's twentieth birthday with a very present motto, while they continue the search for the little girl: “We will never give up”. Kate and Gerry McCann have made this 'pledge' via a message on their Facebook page.
The little girl was three years old when she disappeared while she and her family were on vacation on May 3, 2007.. After sixteen years of searching, where millions of pounds were spent, no trace of the girl has ever been found.
Thus, the parents have wanted to commemorate the girl's birthday for another year by posing with her photos, according to Sky News. This post was linked to a YouTube video with a montage of photos, along with some of the images her parents have posted over the years.

The latest developments in the case date back to last April, when a German court decided not to hear a case of sexual crimes. This referred to the main suspect in the disappearance of the little girl. In addition, last October, prosecutors in a German city charged the suspect, Christian Brueckner, with two sexual offenses committed in 2000 and 2007.
Finally, the court decided not to review the case because the region did not coincide with the suspect's last place of residence.. Furthermore, Brueckner denied any connection to Madeleine's disappearance.
