Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu highlighted this Sunday the importance of the surrender of “dozens” of Gazan militiamen in recent days, a sign of the “beginning of the end of Hamas.”

“In recent days, dozens of Hamas terrorists have surrendered to our forces. They hand over their weapons and they hand themselves over to our brave warriors,” Netanyahu highlighted in a message broadcast on social networks.

“It will take longer. The war continues in full force, but this is the beginning of the end for Hamas. To the Hamas terrorists I say: do not die for (Yahya) Sinwar. Surrender. Now,” he added, referring to the leader of Hamas in Gaza.

Netanyahu has thus referred to the images of dozens of men tied up and in underwear that have been spread, some of them handing over rifles.

These are unofficial images, since the Israeli Armed Forces have not published any video or photograph of militiamen surrendering.. Hamas has denied this information.
