Projectile kills eight people and wounds three in southeastern Pakistan

At least eight people, including four children, have died after a rocket launcher projectile exploded inside a house in a rural area in the province of Sindh, in southeastern Pakistan, according to official sources.
In addition, three other people were injured.. Apparently, all the victims belonged to the same family.
“Eight people, including four children, three women and a man, were killed when a rocket launcher shell exploded in a house,” said Kashmore Senior Superintendent of Police Rohail Khoso.
It has not been an isolated event
“According to the initial investigation, the children found a rocket casing while playing outside and brought it home, where it exploded,” the official added.
Sindh Acting Chief Minister of Justice Maqbool Baqar asked authorities for a report on how a rocket launcher projectile reached the village.
This is not the first incident in Pakistan in which children playing with grenades or similar weapons have lost their lives.
It was last April when three other children died while playing with another explosive device, in this case in the Chaman district, in the province of Balochistan. The same month, a farmer was killed when a grenade he was playing with exploded in the same area.
