Six hospitalized in Japan after apparent chemical leak on bullet train
At least six people, including a five-year-old child, had to be hospitalized this Monday after an apparent chemical leak on a bullet train in northwest Japan.
The victims have suffered discomfort and burns after touching the alleged substance, which one of the passengers was carrying in a container similar to a plastic bottle.. The symptoms of all the injured are mild.
The Police are questioning the owner of the container to see if there has been any problem in the way the substance was transported, the Japanese television channel NHK has reported.
Crew members saw smoke on the train, which has been evacuated at the Sendai station (northeast).
