The Ministry of Health of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) called this Saturday for an international investigation after receiving information that the Israeli Army “buried alive” several people in Gaza.

The Palestinian Minister of Health, May Al-Kaila, explained in a statement that according to this information, this event occurred in the courtyard of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the north of the Strip.

“Testimonies from citizens, medical teams and the media indicate that during the occupation, Israel buried citizens alive in the courtyard,” he stressed.

“The world must take serious measures to uncover the circumstances and neither tolerate nor remain silent in the face of information coming from the Strip,” he added in the statement.

May Al-Kaila reported that wounded people who were in this hospital in the Gazan city of Beit Lahia were taken outside despite “the extreme cold” and medical personnel were attacked.

Israeli forces have been besieging this hospital, one of the few medical centers that were operational in the north of the Palestinian enclave, for eight days.

Dozens of people were killed this morning local time, and many others were injured, as a result of continuous Israeli bombings over most of the territory of the Gaza Strip, according to the official Palestinian agency Wafa.

On September 7, the Islamist group Hamas launched an attack against Israel, with the infiltration of more than 3,000 militiamen and the launching of some 4,000 rockets, in which there were more than 1,200 dead and nearly 240 kidnapped who were taken to Gaza.

Israel declared a state of war and launched a military offensive by land, sea and air on the Palestinian enclave, with more than 18,800 dead and more than 51,000 injured according to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Ministry of Health.
