The Minister of Health, José Miñones, has announced a meeting of the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System at the end of June to discuss the elimination of the mandatory nature of the mask in health centers, social health centers and pharmacies; although he has reiterated that the latest decision is made by the experts from the Health Alerts and Emergencies Coordination Center.

This has been pronounced in an interview on National Radio collected by Europa Press. “You have to do it rigorously, you have to do it seriously,” he said, adding that it will be the experts who will guide the withdrawal process; that is, if it is done “prolongedly, definitively or in stages”.
